A message dated May 24, 2000, was received stating the Governor is             
transmitting the engrossed and enrolled copies of the following                
resolution to the Lieutenant Governor's office for permanent filing:           
                                                                               
HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 56                                                 
Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Alaska
